Community Christmas is an outreach of LIFT Ministries. LIFT stands for Living In Faith Together, and each Christmas we live that out by helping families in our community during the holiday season.

LIFT Community Christmas is a ministry of LIFT Ministries (Living In Faith Together), rooted in the Christian faith. Each year, neighbors, churches, businesses, and families across East Central Alabama come together to help families in our community during the holiday season, so children wake up on Christmas morning to gifts chosen just for them.
We believe every child is made in God's image and deserves to know they are loved. Because God gave us the greatest gift in His Son, Jesus, we give joyfully to others.
How it works
- Parents and guardians apply for Christmas sponsorship before the application deadline.
- Our team prayerfully reviews each application.
- Approved families build a wish list for each child. Each child becomes an “angel” on our Angel Tree. Names are never shown publicly.
- Neighbors, churches, and businesses sponsor angels, shop the Amazon wish list, or give money.
- Gifts are gathered, sorted, and given to families before Christmas.
